My discovery of Qi Gong

It was in my early twenties that I discovered, with Bruno EAP, Qi Gong and Viet Vo Dao, one of whose characteristics is to combine internal exercises, taï cuc dao, visualization and meditation with external practices, including striking techniques, sequences and energy-channelling techniques from Shaolin kung fu.
Then, a few years later, when I left Paris to settle in Marseille, I began to study acupuncture and the art of nourishing Life (Yang Sheng Fa).
What makes the École de la Cour Jaune of Églantine Oudart original is the great importance it gives to applying the fundamental principles of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in everyday life.
For 5 years, on weekends, I followed her complete training at her side, including theory classes in TCM and practical courses in seasonal Qi Gong, Taoist meditation and Chinese dietetics.
Starting in 2007, after earning my black belt in Viet Vo Dao, I began leading Qi Gong workshops in step with the seasons, following the Taoist school (bringing the being into harmony with its environment and (re)connecting it to its own nature). In my workshops, I combine exercises from my martial art, body expression and energy awareness.
For several years now, I have also been drawing on my knowledge of Chinese metaphysics.
My more recent discovery of Essentrics leads me to explore new ways of feeling energy and circulating it in the body, notably by offering more spontaneous forms of qi gong inspired by free dance.
I occasionally lead workshops at Studio Atma Yoga in Montreal, and I post excerpts of seasonal qi gong on my YouTube channel to encourage you to create your own daily routine.
